Default Help with a beginning Assassin/Necromancer

Hello there, I recently got factions and dived straight in with an assassin and just chose necromancer primairly thinking bout some interesting touch spells

At the moment Im using dagger mastery/critical strikes with whatever skills i have picked up so far in the game but im wondering what necromancer skill line to take and what sort of skills. Im not looking for a whole build per se just some ideas to get me going and maybe some skills to look out for as i pass throught the game

Any help appreciated

im try the blood line, can be costly at points but its better at keeping a sin alive then SR. Order of the vamp can help its an elite though.... Life siphon, demonic flesh, unholy feast and blood renewal. these are either health boosters or in unholy feast's case a life steal.

If I ever had a A/N I would definetly have a Plague Touch on my skill bar, always helpful... ^_^

edit: also, with A dealing out so many condition attacks, malaise &/or Virulence would be a nice. The weakness condition given by Virulence would be a warrior's worst nightmare against an assassin. ^_^

Since you've been given some tips on Death Magic and Blood, I'll give you curses.

Parasitic Bond - low cost, quick recharge, lasts 20 seconds regardless of how many points you put into Curses. Heals you when the spell ends or when target foe dies. If the hex is removed, you are healed. This is a cover hex for your more important hexes, and at the very least, it allows you to use Black Lotus Strike (can only be used on hexed foes - does nice damage and does energy gain, slow recharge, but counts as a off-hand attack; does not require a lead attack).

Enfeebling Touch - target foe suffers from weakness (reduces normal damage done; does not affect damage done by a skill though).

Insidious Parasite - target is hexed with this spell that heals you for each successful hit is done (but it doesn't have to be a hit on you). This may be a Prophecies only spell though.

Faintheartedness - target foe is hexed and suffers health degen and attacks are slowed by 50% (results in health degen, a hex, and a way to reduce the number of attacks that an enemy can do on you).

Mark of Pain - this is how you can do damage to adjacent foes regardess of their armor (only if you do physical damage though).

Weaken Armor - nice hex that lowers the defenses of an enemy by 20 AL vs Physical damage.

Price of Failure - I think may be a Prophecies only spell; lasts 30 seconds regardless of how many points into Curses you have. makes enemy miss 25% of the time, but each miss = damage to foe.

Hope this helps.

As said before, Plague Touch or Plague Sending is a keeper for your Assassin.

Weaken Armor might be funny with that assassin hex that reduces armor as well.. lol. I guess you could assist your team in spiking that way, though the cast times are somewhat high. Really, all I would take is Plague Touch.

once you get into AB veretas aura can be fun, or you can use veretas gaze and just grab a fleshy. But in most cases plague touch is your best bet.
